Feb 2020 Today when I opened the app it had logged me out, and will not accept my email and password to log back in. You're not fooling anybody. Can tell this is being done to game engagement because if you so much as touch a title it starts to scroll through the pages. I DO NOT WANT to scroll through single, gigantic cover images-I want to see the grid that I see on my stacks or my history in order to discover titles that I want to read. This doesn't seem right.Feb 2018 update has destroyed browsing on this app.
Supporting non-profits in that way is their way of giving back to the community while also helping the non-profit connect to the people most passionate about their work. Most technology software companies are happy to do so, because it’s technology and doesn’t affect the company’s bottom line. Why? I am using the app every time on the same device, it shouldn't be necessary to log in every time I pick it up.I’m discouraged by Issuu’s unwillingness to provide non-profits with an affordable option to publish all of their life-changing stories so worthy of being told.
They feel so strongly about not supporting non-profits, they had to make a FAQ saying No we don’t provide a discount. Issuu, a company that thinks that annual subscription discount and charging for features of convenience (rather than performance) should suffice for non-profit needs. For a non-profit to conscientiously put $35 of their donor’s dollars each month into the hands of Issuu.
Charitable causes connects people, creates respect, affinity and trust. I don’t think it’s a coincidence why they, Facebook or Google have had such great success.
